About Us:

Blue Ridge Brushes was founded in 2021 by local artist & entrepreneur, Catelyn Myers, as a way to share her love of painting with the Charlottesville community. What began as hauling bins of paint splattered jam jars, brushes, and canvases to a few favorite wineries quickly grew into a lively network of venues, instructors, and budding artists throughout the surrounding counties. We have had so much support from the community we’ve built!

Early Spring 2026 we opened our first ever Blue Ridge Brushes STUDIO where we can (finally) provide kids classes and art camps, private parties, small group workshops, and more! Come paint with us at the Blue Ridge Brushes Studio or at a local venue near you!
