After School Art: March Mondays 2026

Welcome to After School Art!

Treat your kids to a month long Monday afternoon program filled with art and creativity at the Blue Ridge Brushes Studio in downtown Charlottesville. We will be incorporating age appropriate literature and art history to inspire our creations.

Session will be led by experienced artist and instructor, Catelyn. (Learn more about Catelyn!)

Parents are welcome to drop off 4:30pm and pick up at 6pm.

Event Details:

  • Monday: March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th

  • Time: 4:30-6pm

  • Ages: 8-12 years old

  • Venue: Blue Ridge Brushes Studio, 1110 E Market St #13H, Charlottesville, VA 22902

  • Provided: Snack (nut free) + water, all materials, 1.5 hours of art and creation

Each Month will focus on a specific theme/medium:

  • March: Acrylic + Watercolor Paints

  • April: Chalk + Oil Pastels

  • May: Collage/Creative Projects (combining techniques learned in prior weeks)

Aprons will be provided, however it's best practice to dress in clothes you don't mind getting stained! We can't wait to create together and inspire your kiddos to unleash their inner artist.

When purchasing/signing up for this service you are signing up for the duration listed in the description.

DROP OFF: You are welcome to drop your child/children off and pick them up once the session is finished. There are ample chairs if you choose to stay and work with your child. We do ask if YOU plan on creating a project of your own, that you purchase a secondary ticket.

REFUND POLICY: We do not accept refunds for missed classes, unless the class is cancelled by the studio.

PARKING: You’re welcome to park in any designated parking spot in the lot. As long as you’re between two white lines, you’re good!
